Phishing Email Directed at MU

Below is the text of Joe Lear's message to
all Extension personell about this latest scam.
Please read through it and make any necessary changes to
your password. Thank you.
If you receive an Email with the following subject:
VERIFY YOUR MISSOURI EMAIL ACCOUNT NOW !!!
Please the delete the message. This is from someone
trying to get account and password information into our
system. The e-mail group would never ask for your
password, or even to verify your account.
If you have responded to the message please change
your password immediately.
To change your password:
- Press Ctrl+ALT+Del while logged into your computer.
- Press the Change Password Button on the Screen that
appears.
- Type in your Old Password
- Type in your new password twice
- Click OK
- Log off your computer and then log back in using the
new password.
Your new password must be at least 8 characters long
and contain a combination of numbers, special
characters, and capital letters.
