Change Your Email Password

Due to some recent changes in the way the MU Campus and UM System maintain their security protocols; it is necessary for our Extension users to follow a slightly different procedure when changing/synchronizing a password.

Anyone who is part of the UM-users domain (Extension) will need to do the following;

Windows 2000 & XP

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
2. The familiar Windows Security dialog box (that appears at startup) should appear giving you the usual six buttons to choose from.
3. Click Change Password…, the Change Password dialog box will open.
4. Enter your old password, then your new one, then re-enter your new password and click OK.  That's all there is to it.
   
   This procedure will change your password for logging on to your computer, your Exchange Email account, your Blackboard login (if any), and any other system regularly used and supported by Extension and ETCS.

Windows 9x

1. If you are still using one of these Operating Systems, please contact ETCS for help in re-setting your password.
