Staff Changes
By John Myers

Zimmawu Reeves joined ETCS in November as our campus Systems Administrator. His primary emphasis will be the maintenance of the campus servers and desktops. He will also be helping out with database and web development. Zimmawu has written the following to better introduce himself:

"I previously worked as a Network Administrator/Programmer Analyst for Denver-based Policy Studies Inc., which is contracted by the state of Missouri to manage the MC + Managed HealthCare System (Medicaid). Prior to that, I worked for Missouri Employees Retirements Systems (MOSERS) as a Computer Information Technologist II. I am a proud alumnus of the University of Missouri, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in December, 2001. I am originally from Monrovia, Liberia, which is located in the West of Africa. With a population of two million, it is bordered by the Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone and Guinea, and boasts a tropical rain forest climate, consisting of rainy and dry seasons. I enjoy cooking, meeting people from other parts of the world, and listening to music. My taste in music is diverse, including reggae, R & B, meringue and gospel. I am excited to join the ETCS and look forward to working with this dynamic group as we share our various knowledge and strengths."

We are also sad to announce that Jill Dourty will be leaving us. Her last day will be December 5. She has accepted a job with the Center for Distance and Independent Study. We wish her well in her new job.
