BlackboardBlackboard is a course management web-based application that allows UOE to present educational programs on the web for use with face-to-face presentations, or instead of any face-to-face activities. It is used heavily in distance education for both credit and non-credit offerings. With a Blackboard course, you can deliver your educational program to your clientele in their home, while connecting them to your information, and to others also taking your course. Discussion boards, and even chats, can be implemented in a Blackboard course. Timely material and web links to the world can be delivered in a web course like this. You can have a course that requires registration (and fees, if you want), or a course that is free to login for the users that find it. The course can be stand alone, and require no interaction from you, or can be presented synchronized in time with your schedule. In this case timely interaction via email from the web course would be your responsibility if you were the course instructor/facilitator. The image below links to the main Blackboard login
